Series SF-100-03 / Full Al Direct Flow Absorber
| The Savosolar SF-100-03 series collectors are characterized by a direct flow Al absorber, which is entirely made of Al - corrosion resistant HyLife alloy, specially developed for solar thermal applications - with integrated riser tubes in form of a double harp.
The absorber is coated with a selective PVD MEMO coating as a ready assembled unit (patent pending). The advantage of the integrated riser tubes and the coating is a very uniform temperature distribution. Hotspots with excessive conductive and radiative heat loss are avoided. Therefore the absorber performs best at elevated temperatures and where high efficiency is important. The absorber is also characterized by its low weight and rapid thermal response. The quality of the entire collector build is tested according to EN 12975 (Solar Keymark pending).
