Savo-Solar is producing  innovative high efficiency flat plate collector for OEM partners. Savo-Solar collector are utilizing direct flow Cu-,Al and Stainless Steel absorbers wich are coated with our MEMO selective absorber coating (patent pending). The high efficiency of the Savo-Solar collectors is based on a combination of direct flow technology, vacuum deposited selective nano-structured multilayer absorption coating, and innovative collector design.

Savo-Solar is producing Cu-,Al and Stainless Steel direct flow absorbers which are coated with our patented MEMO selective absorber coating. Savo-Solar has an in house vacuum coating line, with 1 milion sqm annual capacity, where the coating is deposited in complete absorbers. The high efficiency of the Savo-Solar absorber is based on a combination of direct flow technology, vacuum deposited selective nanostructured multilayer absorption coating and the unique coating process (patent pending)

Savo-Solar Absorber Coating

The MEMO solar selective absorber coating consists of 3 thin ceramic layers based on Si, Al, Ti. These layers are deposited by PVD and PECVD technology, in vacuum. The combination of the ceramic layers forms a selective absorber coating with a solar absorbance  > 96% with low thermal emission by radiation in the infrared.

MEMO coatings can be exposed in air to several hundred degrees without loosing the optical and mechanical properties surpassing the limitations of most of the competing products today. Even exposure to sea climate and other aggressive environments is possible within normal operation limits.
