Sales Director
Savo-Solar Oy is a Finnish company producing innovative and highly efficient solar thermal collectors and absorbers for OEM partners and collector manufacturers everywhere in the world first target markets being in Central-Europe. The Savosolar Al-MPE direct flow Absorber was recognized with the Intersolar Award at Intersolar 2011 in thermal solar technology. Company has started the commercial deliveries of the collectors and is expecting rapid growth of its business. The company is owned by Clean Future Fund, Sitra and key employees and has its headquarters in Mikkeli in a recent over 3000 m2 factory building. The company uses latest manufacturing technologies in its processes and the quality system meets the ISO 9000 requirements.
Job description
The company is presently seeking a Sales Director to support the fast growth
in Central-Europe and other parts of the world. Tasks would include defining the sales strategies with the management team and implementing them, establishing the sales processes in the company, building sales network in chosen market areas and negotiating and closing deals with usually international companies, who have been in the industry already for a long time.

Experience and Qualifications
 |
Several years’ experience in business to business product sales and marketing, also in management positions
|
|
Experience in solar thermal systems industry would be an additional benefit
|
|
Experience of work in Central-Europe, especially in German speaking countries
|
|
Applicable university level degree
|
|
Willingness and possibility for extensive travelling
|
|
Interest in working in a multi-cultural company
|
|
Language skills: English and preferably German
|
